Primary Class Explores the World Through Their Senses 🌈

In Ms. Ebere’s Primary classroom, the children have been immersed in sensorial activities that build concentration, fine motor control, and joyful independence. One favorite work this month was the color tablets, where students explored subtle shades while refining their visual discrimination.

Ms. Ebere shared, “It’s amazing to witness the quiet confidence that emerges when children are allowed to choose their work and engage with it deeply.” These moments of focus are foundational to a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Faith in Action: Learning to Serve 💖

Inspired by our core value of Christlike character, the Elementary students organized a “Helping Hands” week. They wrote encouraging notes for our local senior center and packed care bags for a nearby shelter. Ms. Ebere guided a reflection circle afterward where students shared how serving others made them feel.

One student said, “It felt like Jesus was smiling when we helped.” Moments like this remind us of the deep integration of faith, compassion, and learning at Kerusso.

Hands-On Nature Studies 🐛

Our Outdoor Classroom came alive this month with a new science focus: Life Cycles. With magnifying glasses and nature journals in hand, the children observed caterpillars, sketched stages of growth, and even watched the release of butterflies. The awe on their faces reminded us how powerful real-world learning can be.
